Mapping of Research on Education Maker in the School Context

Maker Education in Brazil has gained strength, resulting in dissertation and thesis works in different graduate programs. In this sense, it was sought then to understand and make a survey of Brazilian academic productions, especially focused on the school context. To build this work, efforts were concentrated on productions that were online, in the CAPES database, mapping thirteen productions. For the analysis and interpretation of the data, the knowledge inherent to qualitative research was used, more specifically in the bibliographic research modality. It was possible to realize that Maker Education can be worked on as a Project-Based Learning methodology, Design Thinking, and other methodologies that favor student authorship. Since Maker Education can enable students critical thinking, autonomy, sharing, authorship, creativity, cooperation.
